This year’s prisons week of prayer and awareness is scheduled for 9th-15th October.
The theme is ‘Lord Have Mercy’
For forty years now, Prisons Week has prepared prayer literature to enable the Christian community, through individuals and churches, to pray for the needs of all those affected by prisons: prisoners and their families, victims of crime and their communities, those working in the criminal justice system and the many people who are involved in caring for those affected by crime on the inside and outside of our prisons.
prayer leaflets and a short video presentation that can be used in your churches can be found here: http://prisonsweek.org
The Welcome Directory is a Free Churches Group project that helps churches identify themselves as places of welcome for people coming out of prison. We would like to encourage all FCC churches to consider potential involvement in this important project.
If you need any help, please contact the FCC office.

All details of the post can be found in the attached document, which also includes how to apply and the documents needed to support the application.
The deadline for application is 7th October 2016.
We look forward to hearing from all those whom God might be calling to this important work.
